My name is Sean Arrowsmith and I like to take photos. That’s the short version…..
It was whilst teaching diving in Lanzarote that I first tried photography, after just a short while I realised I enjoyed taking photos underwater more than taking people under, so I started to invest in more equipment.
After several years shooting with a compact camera, I invested in a fully housed SLR setup, and found the higher level of dedication needed to use this to it’s potential meant my images were much stronger, to the extent that in 2011 I won the Best Beginners portfolio with the British Society Of Underwater Photographers (BSOUP).
Nowadays, I shoot more topside than I do underwater, shooting a variety of subjects in as many different locations I can travel to, having visited more than 20 countries in the past 6 years, including Peru, Ecuador, Namibia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Nepal, Swaziland, South Africa and Mozambique.
