It was only about 4 months ago that I decided to give my personal website a long needed refresh, so why have I totally changed it again?
Mainly to allow adding a blog, and to move to a content management system (CMS).
Why? Well, the blog is for my ramblings on photography, and the CMS just makes life a bit easier when managing my site.
The previous site was all hard coded in HTML and CSS, which made updating it remotely a bit tricky. The new CMS (WordPress, for those who are interested) will allow me to log in from anywhere to add photos and blog posts, hopefully encouraging me to add regular content.
Speaking of which, I do intend to blog about trips, both past and present, and in due course will be adding some reviews of the kit that I use to help me create the images you see on this site.
Well, that’s it for now, please feel free to leave a comment, connect to my new Facebook page, or follow me on Twitter.
